Navy PT

Navy PT Test:

​

- Conducted twice a year

- Performance standards and requirements vary by gender and age 

Navy PT Test or Physical Readiness Test (PRT):

​

- Consists of height, weight, body fat measurement

- Push-up max effort for 2 minute

- Sit-up max effort for 2 minute

- 1.5 mile timed run

​

General Navy PRT allows for a choice of the timed 1.5 mile run, a timed 500 yard swim, or one of the following events:

​

- Riding a stationary bike for 12 minutes

- Performing cardio on an elliptical machine for 12 minutes
